THE FINAL ROCK SHOW

“I can still remember all the good times that we had.

The fights, the nights, the break ups, make ups

– time can never erase the tracks we've made!”

KINGS OF THE WORLD

Bringing anything to an end is an incredibly hard decision if it’s something you love and care about. So, writing these words to say that we’ve decided to close the book on our TCC adventure after thirteen years has been much harder than we could imagine.

TCC has been the band that allowed each of us our first and biggest musical opportunities. Not only has it seen hundreds of shows all over the UK, Europe and the USA, it’s responsible for life changing events for us all. Friendships, relationships and even marriages have been part of this band’s story.

Here in 2016 though, things look incredibly different to how they did when we first entered that rehearsal room at the tail end of 2003. None of us really knew what kind of band we wanted to be – we just knew that we felt unstoppable and we could destroy any stage we stepped foot on.

Today however, much older and we’d like to think a little wiser, we feel that the band has come to a point where we can longer move forward and continue to grow in the way we feel it deserves. We’ve always been stubborn, called our own shots and never handed control to anyone else, which was perhaps to both our advantage and disadvantage. The only people we owe anything to though is YOU - the people who enjoy our songs, the ones who make the effort to come to our shows and those who spend their hard earned money on our music. You were never Fans, you’ve always been our Friends. Whilst that makes this decision all the more hard, we feel that ending things now, we can be incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved and go out on our own terms. It’s a part of our lives which we would never change. Thank you for being a piece of that.

So, we would like you to join us for one final rock show. We’ll be taking to the stage one last time and it only feels right that the band started in Nottingham, so that’s where it will end. We’ll be playing at our beloved Tap N Tumbler in Nottingham on Friday 18th November 2016. We can’t stress how much we’d love you to be there. And as the final chords die out, the four of us will leave as great friends, with wonderful memories which, is probably the most amazing thing any band could ask for.

Please come and share this one last memory with us.
